Cozy 4 season waterfront cottage located in a small munity on a private road with private access to Pontiac Bay which is part of the Ottawa River. Pontiac Bay is located 8 km south-west of Quyon, Quebec, which is less than one hour from Ottawa and across the river from Fitzroy Harbour Provincial Park. Great for camp fires, boating, fishing and relaxing; which is only part of this quiet wilderness setting. A short boat ride brings you to many sandy beaches along the Ottawa River, such as Fitzroy and Constance Bay. The fall colours are amazing. Enjoy walking trails through the forest close by. Winter activities include ice fishing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing. If you have snow mobiles with trail pass, it’s a short ride to access the trails. 13 Chemin du Gingembre, J0X2V0 (Water front) Items included: - Fully equipped kitchen, Tassimo coffee machine (bring your pods), perk coffee machine, air conditioning, Cogico TV, WIFI, board games, BBQ, lawn chairs, river access for all water activities, boat launch for small boats. We have a canoe, pedal boat and kayaks for your water activity pleasure. (Please bring your life jackets), out door fire stove, (some firewood provided at no cost). Rental details: Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms, double bed in one and queen in the other, plus pull-out sofa, sleeps: 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 small children Bathroom: 1 bathroom (4 piece with shower), parking: 2 vehicles, Strictly NON-SMOKING inside. Kitchen cloths/towels, bed linen/pillows are included. You will need to supply your own bath towels. Private road access to boat launch and swimming area. Rate $1200.00 per week (off peak/winter rate is discounted) Check in: 2 PM Saturday Check out: 10 AM Saturday Check in/out times are somewhat flexible during off peak season.
