Wanted: Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to oversee and support our nearly 50 volunteers. Duties include working closely with the Executive Director to support volunteer engagement at the Hamilton Aviary and ensure annual volunteer targets are met.. Duties include the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers including scheduling and performing volunteer interviews and training.
Flexible hours, some weekends and evenings required. Up to 20 hours per week to start and then less as our backlog is cleared and position moves to steady state. This is a non-paying job.
