Back in the 90s, up till the mid 2000s, there was a brand of wiper called Aerofoil. They had a durable, well designed polymer plastic frame and were bar-none the best wipers I ever used. They were originally available from pany called Tridon, and later offered under the Motomaster brand at Canadian Tire. They were also sold under ACDelco branding at GM dealerships.

I kept all the old ones I used, thinking someday I'd be able to find blade refills. The frames are in perfect condition but the blades have aged and are no longer useful. Eventually I just kept on buying replacement wipers and partially forgot I had stored them away. Ten years later, I recently found them cleaning up the basement. Some research led me to discover it will more than likely be impossible to find the correct type of refills I'd need. Its a shame, because I'd like to reuse the frames, and the cost of wipers these days is ridiculous. $30-$50CDN for a pair! For something that lasts maybe two years, depending on your driving habits, and its all cheap China made junk.

My last resort is finding some NOS Aerofoil's, which is probably going to be harder to find now than if I had posted an ad looking for them eight to ten years ago. I need 18", 19" and 20" sizes. If you have any still in packaging and the rubber blade looks good, let me know.
