My car (Toyota Corolla 2009 CE) is driving fine. Its engine light is turning ON/OFF itself.

I stopped by Mr. Lube for inquiry and they found out OBD code is P2196. I googled the code and it says oxygen sensor (O2) has some issues and might need fix or replacement?

It came one first time during deep freeze of Edmonton in December 2021 and later it turned off during spring of 2022 and it was off for whole summer. Now it turned on again in November 2022 during first deep freeze of Edmonton.

Not sure what is relation of very low temperature with engine light. Using this car in Edmonton for last eight years and this issue was not there till December 2021.

Any one knows why it is showing on and off back and forth? Can you please help me to diagnose and fix it? I am at south side of Edmonton near southgate mall. Thx.
