Serious, no nonsense replies only. Looking for a bus or flat deck/ box truck for a home conversion. Older, the better; either a gasoline powered rig or a mechanical diesel bus; must be mechanical with no ECU, computer system or digital anything. Manual transmission preferred. Mechanical diesels such as: 12 valve 5.9 Cummins, DT 466, 6C8.3 Cummins and predecessors considered. Again, must not be electrically controlled in anyway because the chosen rig will be our bug out home on wheels and must offer certain electrical protections that only mechanical models are able to. Hydraulic braking system is a must. Gasoline motors considered for optional wood gasifier system or diesel for optional veg oil system. Plans to build out a house truck....skoolie/ house truck/ tomato/ tomata.... Project vehicles are ok and almost preferred because in all likelyhood, the unit will be stripped down to start from scratch. Will travel afar for the right bus. Cash and, or trade(s) available. Trade(s): Volkswagen bus(es), tools, Forestry / environmental consultation, bush work, carpentry and alternative building, firearm(s), survival / prepper gear, Jack of all trades, etc...
