Do you know of an old Nova that's been sitting in a field or in a barn somewhere for decades? I am looking for a 1968 to 1972 Chevy Nova project car that requires plete restoration. I’m looking for something that's a lot of work, but solid enough to be saved. I don’t need matching numbers, doesn’t have to be an SS just need something that’s in rough shape but savable plete. Infact a base engine would be fine because I plan to do eventually do an LS swap and it would be a shame to ruin a matching numbers car. Having an engine and tranny would be cool because would love to get it running, enjoy it, and eventually swap the engine with an LS & 6sd tranny. But this project is rather unique I’m not some guy trying to make money restoring a car. The whole idea of this project is to give a car a 2nd chance at life and here’s the kicker… I want to do all of this on camera. I want to document the entire process and build a car for me and my family. I always loved these as a kid and it would be a dream to restore one. I’m not a mechanic but I have restored a 1988 Cherokee in the past. I think this would be an amazing story and I know they're out there. I’ve seen a couple thus far that have been parked in fields for 40+ years but they were past saving. ANY help would be amazing. I'm not looking for a car somebody has done the majority of work to I'm looking to start from scratch and learn everything along the way.
