VW Vanagon transmission

I have a 4 speed manual transmission that has been pulled out of a running and driving 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon. It worked well, but is starting to have a 3rd-4th gear grind. I was still using it until last fall. If your careful you can shift without a grind. I assume the 3-4 syncro is starting to fail ( this is mon). Selling as a good candidate for a rebuild or core. ( I can get trans codes if required) I see core charges for a rebuilt trans are up around $1500-$1700 so please make a reasonable offer if your interested.
