Beautiful vintage Seth Thomas’s nautical brass and cherry wood porthole wall clock with Hygro and Thermo gauges. Circa 1970’s. Made in Germany. Note:At the bottom of the clock face “Japan-Germany” is printed. Perhaps some parts were made in Japan. Seth Thomas’s clocks of all types and styles are well known and continue to be collectible items since 1853. Seth Thomas supplied the United States Navy with Marine clocks starting in 1911. Beautiful brass around the glass porthole which is encased in a cherry wood frame. The brass locking mechanism works well. Ready to display on any wall in your home, cottage or office. Would be a lovely and unique gift idea. Like new vintage condition. Clock works wonderfully with one AA battery which I have included. Approximately 10” in diameter.
