Vintage postcard of the Pebble Beach 8th tee looking down the 8th Fairway towards Spanish Bay Monterey Peninsula.
This was probably a limited run of photo postcards as it has a rather glaring misprint / typo on the back. '8th Tree'. This postcard is in very good condition for it's age
This was photographed by Lee Blaisdell and the postcard created by his pany, probably in the late 50s or early 60s. A little of his history has been copied from his obituary in 2014.
Lee Blaisdell was a founding photographer for Hot Rod Magazine, member of the Professional Photographers of America, a 60-year member of the American Legion, a photography stringer for United Press in Monterey, and he started his own post card business, creating many original views, from the Monterey Peninsula to the Hearst Castle. He captured the celebrities who played golf at Pebble Beach.
