Baroque tenor recorder (A = 440) hand-made by von Huene Workshop (Boston)
Tulipwood, Ivory (beak, ornament), Brass (keys on the foot joint for low C and C#) Length: 25¼ inches (64 cm) Manufacture #503
This recorder was made well before the international ban on ivory trade in 1989. Legal documentation (2 items) is provided, permit signed by Friedrich von Huene and stamped by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Boston, 1987.
Includes tenor-sized swab
Condition: Excellent, rarely used, and beautiful! Thumb hole and keys are in very good condition.
[Originally purchased from von Huene Workshop in Boston for $2200; about the same price for a used one of the same make today]
