This VintagevPony Powerful Portable Transceiver Model CB-36,Citizen Band,Japan presumably built in 1970.It is used for transmitting ; receiving munication on one or two at the 23 available channels. The transmitting range input is appx.1.5 watts. Communication range is up to l50 miles at open sea &; 2 to 3 miles in suburbs.It has two selectable channels.Crystals used 27.065MHz; 27.085MHz .It has 10 sections of extendable antenna which can fully extend up to 55 1/2" high. Features include: High Sensitivity; battery indicator;Squelch control;Volume control;Earphone jack;External power jack; Battery used (UM-3) 8 pieces for each set=12 volt.Soft leather case included.Dimensions: 9 13/15"(H) X 3 3/16"(W) X 2 !/8"(D).
