Search "Sam's Cycles" on ibuyca in Guelph to find my other ads. For sale is my special Cambio Rino bicycle that has just pletely restored, paint and all! Cambio Rino made ponents in Italy. Joe Gardin had exclusive rights to distribute Rino Components in North America in the early 1980s. He had some Italian relatives that knew how to build bicycle frames, so he asked Cambio Rino if he could plete bikes under their name. They agreed to this deal, as long as the bikes were sold equipped with full Cambio Rino Components. This deal lasted for a few years, but the brand later became Gardin Bicycles. Cambio Rino Frames are an oddity as they were only made for a few years in Mississauga Canada. The coolest thing about them is that most Cambio Rinos feature full Cambio ponents; this bike is no exception!
This is truly a great piece if you are looking for a collectable Canadian vintage racing bike with Italian style, quality, and heritage.
Has a 53cm or 21 inch frame (53cm seat tube, 52cm top tube), 12 speeds and 700c wheels. Weighs 22lbs currently. Good for someone 5.5 to 5.9 ft tall. Stand over height of 31 inches from the ground to the top of the top tube
This bike is fully equipped with Cambio Rino ponents. Has Modolo Speedy brake calipers and brake levers. Has plete uber rare Green anodised ponents group. The green parts include: shift levers, front and rear derailleurs, cranks, drilled chain rings, and pedals. The hubs, head set, bottom bracket and a beautiful fluted seat post are all also Cambio Rino Componentry. Has Ambrosio Super Elite Clincher aluminum wheels 700c size with brand new Michelin Dynamic tires and Silver Rino hubs with Rino QR. Comes with a brand new Selle Italia Turbo saddle. Has Cinelli criterium bars held by a Rino Pantograph stem. The handlebars are wrapped in new fabric bar tape. Has many cool details to match ponents like green anodised valve caps, green anodised cable ends, and transparent green cable housing.
Made Columbus SL chromoly tubing in the frame and fork. This bike has some fantastic pantograph work that can be seen on the fork crowns, and on the seat stay caps. All the pantographs have been filled with a nice green, and all lug cut outs filled in the same. The paint colour is a metallic orange, this was chosen in an effort to display the rare ponents on the best possible backdrop. Inspired by an orange fruit with a green leaf! You will never find another Rino with paint this nice, or the full ponent set!
This bike was stripped down, blasted, professionally powder coated, and reassembled with many NOS or ponents. The decals were custom designed and made specifically for this bike by the world best cycle pany: CycloMondo in Australia. Every bearing in this bike has been freshly cleaned and re-packed. It has new cables / housing throughout, new saddle and tape, and new tires.
This bike is an eras best road bike and would be great for any collector or someone who is just looking for a cool bike to race mute around town with.
