Here's a fun one. This vintage made in Korea treasure has been very difficult to identify.

Dreadnought style with double pick guard (can be strung for either right or left-handed players.Recently refurbished with a fretboard clean-up. Previously broken in-line tuners have been replaced with a set from another vintage MIK guitar. Body polish, saddle adjustment and brand new strings as well. See photos for details.

It's possible that this is a vintage Cort guitar based on the serial number. Other guesses include Hondo and Magnum.

Structurally it's in good shape with mostly minor cosmetic flaws (chip, gouges, scrapes etc – it's all the character of age).

Sonically, it actually sounds pretty amazing. Very bright and resonant – great sustain with a nice warm tone.

So there we have it. A cool and unique vintage guitar that's had a tune-up and sounds great – at a great price. How can you say no?

Perfect for collectors, as a second or third guitar for the cottage or for friends to borrow. It would also be a great starter acoustic for a guitar newbie – far superior to the boxed made in China garbage sold at Walmart.
