Vintage MCM Pheasant Milk Glass Bowl

Vintage Mid Century Modern (1940s - 1950s) pheasant milk glass art bowl. Made by Jeanette Glass Co. which operated from 1818 in Pennsylvania. 3 beautifully detailed pheasants support a soft blush pink/nude milk glass bowl. Intricately detailed birds with carved feathers. Flowing and elegant ageless design harkening to the Art Dec period. 3 footed base for bowl and appears to be sitting on back of 3 pheasants in full flight when viewed from above. Bottom design is equally elegant with bowl appearing to float on the wings of the birds. Excellent condition. No scratches or cracks, Only a tiny nick on the very tip of 2 bird beaks barely noticeable even when studied close up. Seen online for $64.00 to $140.00 plus shipping. 8.25 inches wide x 2.75 inches high. Yours for only $47.00 cash - a real bargain for vintage MCM timeless piece.
