One vintage mid-century modern stainless steel ice cream scooper available for purchase. This ice cream spoon / scooper is made by the pany Dansk. (Please see photos for the branding on the spoon.) The item was previously owned by a Danish-canadian couple. The wear is consistent with its age. The spoon measures 7''x2''x1.75'' (18x5x4.5cm).
Teaked fun facts - DID YOU KNOW? Dansk, which is the Danish word for Danish, is acompany that was founded by Martha and Ted Nierenberg in the 1950s. They wereinspired by the Danish designer Jens Quistgaard’s designs. They eventuallyteamed up to create a home pany and the rest is history!
Some of the Dansk designs by Jens Quistgaard are now part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
