Vintage Electric Motor
Description : 11 Apr, 2023
¼ HP electric motor made by Domestic Electric Co. (predecessor of Black and Decker) Cleveland, USA. 110 VAC, 1750 RPM, ½ inch diameter shaft. This motor probably was made in the 1920’s and is about 100 years old. The shaft can be hand rotated and the oiled bushings appear tight and in good condition. It has been in storage for many years and its electrical condition is unknown. The integrity of the winding insulation is uncertain and the buyer may wish to have it tested before attempting to run the motor. It may be more of a collectible than an operational tool. Asking $20.
