A very beautiful, practical and functional vintage writing or dressing desk set with many drawers and nooks, complete with matching storage box and chair. It is heavy wood coated with lacquer and hand painted with Chinese crane and flower scenery, with brass trim. Estimated from the 1950s, desk measurements are 51 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 31 inches high at the lower level and 40 inches high at the upper level. Chair seat still has protective plastic, small damage on desk near one hinge and top curve of chair as shown in pictures, but otherwise in good condition with only slight lacquer fading consistent with age. Similar pieces as shown retail in the range of $4500-$12,000 without the matching chair and box. Asking $3500, willing to consider all reasonable offers. Pickup only in North St Catharines.
