Vintage Bus Transit Roll Sign (Circa 1970s)
Description : 16 Feb, 2024
For sale is a vintage transit sign roll (likely used in a bus), circa 1970s. This piece is made from plastic, with wear (particularly at the base of the sign roll - see pictures) consistent with age and use. Sign shows creases in the plastic due to storage over the years. Originates from Quebec, and lists various destination points used in busses to for the information of boarding passengers.
Present day, these sign rolls have been replaced by LED signs, and, thus, are quickly ing a rarity. This piece can be framed and enjoyed, particularly by someone who has lived in Quebec and remembers travelling on the transit system long ago.
Approximate measurements: 65"H X 30"W.
