Vintage Bone China Hand Painted Trinket Box, Sutherland England

This Lovely Trinket Box has been manufactured and hand decorated in the Sutherland Potteries, Longton England around the middle of last century. The box with bow-shaped edges is covered with the profiled lid hand painted with blue and yellow field flowers. A similar motif is featured on both longer sides of the box. The rim of the lid is outlined with golden band. The condition of the box is very clean, with no chips, cracks or discolorations or significant wear to the paint/gilt. Such a lovely find for your collection or as a lovely gift for this special person in your life. Measures approx. 4.5in L x 4in W x 1 1/4in H. ALSO check my other ads here (link on the rigt).
