Vintage Black Velvet Gorwood Evening Clutch Purse

This is a 1940s small formal black velvet Gorwood clutch purse.
The clutch purse is made entirely of velvet and has velvet skirts on both sides. The short strap is velvet. It has a gold color frame and kiss clasp. The clasp works very well.
The inside has a small slip pocket and holds the pact mirror. The bag is in good condition. It is inscribed with “Gorwood Bag Made in Canada”.
This retro clutch bag measures 8" or 20 cm wide and 6 " or 15 cm tall. The strap is 12" or 30.5 cm long.
This would be a fabulous accessory for any formal occasion including weddings and prom graduation night!
