Vintage Aynsley Fine China Tea Cup & Saucer Set
Description : 16 Apr, 2023
This is a vintage Aynsley fine English bone china footed tea cup and matching saucer in a beautiful all-over pattern featuring pink roses on a background of green/yellow foliage and trimmed with gold. The back stamp dates this set to circa 1905-1925. Both pieces have a handwritten pattern number on the bottom but it is hard to make out (see photos). Both pieces also have a small amount of sticker residue on the bottom.
Both pieces do show some signs of wear consistent with age and past use, including some slight crazing in the glaze on the outside of the cup (see photo) and general wear to the gold trim on the handle and rim.
Pickup is in St. James, vicinity of Ness and Ferry Road.
