Pretty awesome set of vintage XCD / backcountry / AT skis with Silvretta 404 bindings (features a DIN and patible with 3-pin boots, mountaineering boots and maybe other boots) 210cm Steel edges Waxable Silvretta 404 bindings The bindings have a DIN, heel lifters and have free-heel alpine touring and locked heel alpine modes. Sold for $375 at MEC in 1992 ($678 in today’s dollars!) The bindings are the large size and can be very easily adjusted to fit size 31.5cm to 37cm outsoles. Add some skins (not included) and you’re ready for AT at Dacre, Vorlage, Mont Sainte Marie or further afield (Chics Chocs, Adirondacks, etc). Silvretta 404 description from MEC’s winter 1992 catalogue: Light, strong, easy to use. Release characteristics not as good as Fritschi but still DIN standard. Easy to adjust, comes with integral heel lift for steep climbing. Located near Parkdale and Hwy 417. Je parle français.
