I have for sale a VINTAGE 1980’S STONEWARE FRENCH COUNTRY STORE CLOCK
- large Howard Kaplan French Country Store wall clock by Sigma.
-dated 1983
-it is battery operated and takes a AA battery.
-made in Italy
-works perfectly
- Measures 16" in diameter and stands 2.5" from the wall.
-stoneware is in EXCELLENT CONDITION except for a very small spot where there is no glaze. -this has always been there and I believe it was made this way. -I have taken a close up of the spot so you can see how small it is. It is just above the second letter C in CHOCOLAT
Howard Kaplan used to have a well-known furniture and second hand decorator store in New York that was often frequented by celebrities, and started a line of French Country collectibles in the 80's.
The lettering is dark blue and says CHOCOLAT / de la BELLE FRANCE.
