The Royal Red crokinole board is made in Canada from high quality maple mdf veneer and maple side rails. It has a stained burgundy ditch and a playing surface that is fully finished, having been waxed and buffed for a fast playing experience. The surface of this board is consistently smooth across and makes for very enjoyable gameplay. The pegs on the board are made of brass screws sheathed in latex. Crokinole shots will bounce of these pegs making the gameplay much more dynamic and interesting.
Board features:
• Meets National Crokinole Association standards • Is a standard tournament size crokinole board with large 26 playing surface • 30 x 1.5 inch tall frame • 1/2 inch tall playing surface enables the discs to drop fully ing back on the playing surface • Multi-step waxing process for one of the fastest boards on the market • Posts are thick brass screws covered in latex tubing (also tournament size) • 35mm 20 hole • Made of premium maple MDF • Composite base to prevent warpage downwards over time (called cupping) • Contoured feet on the base to lift the board slightly off the table, so it can be moved easily without scratching your table • Ditch is made of finished MDF which makes sliding the pieces around between game play very smooth and easy
Included with the board: • 26 crokinole discs (24 needed for game, plus 1 extra of each colour) • Your choice of disc colours: black, natural, white, red, blue and green • 100 grams of fast crokinole board powder - sprinkle lightly on the surface for even faster game play • Large 20's cup • Cloth pouch for discs • Rules in English and French, tournament and regular scoring cards in the rules booklet
