This tiny, parthenogenetic species is an ideal addition to almost any humid bioactive terrarium. Its diminutive size allows it to process minuscule particles of organic waste without injuring any living organisms with which it might share an environment. Furthermore, they are nutritious and can be consumed by small amphibians, reptiles, arachnids, etc... However, precautions should be taken with this species if one does not want them present in ALL terraria one owns. A single rogue dwarf white can multiply into a full-blown occupation in little time, given acceptable living conditions, and may (anecdotally) complete with other small detritivores in a setup.
