Thick Ash Coffee Table

good day folks I have been working on this table for quite some time and I finally have it finished, I am very happy with how it turned out. This coffee table is not the generic particle board stuff you get at a big box store This table is 3 1/2 inches thick solid NB ash wood locally sourced, it is approx 30" across more in some places as you will see by the pictures. The legs were custom built for this table, the legs are maple wood and secured to the table with screw in anchors for furniture, just simply turn out the allen head screws and the e off in 1 piece. The upper and lower surfaces are treated with black epoxy on bottom side and clear epoxy on the top. Before I poured the clear epoxy I put a skim coat of black epoxy to show the cracks and holes on the upper surface, then clear epoxy poured to protect the top surface, after everything plete I finished everything with multiple coats of polyureathane. It has been wet sanded to 3000 grit, it is very smooth. this table is for sale $1500 note I spoke to a local arborist looking for more large slabs similar to this one and his exact quote was "dude that is a massive tree and thre are very very few around now that big " so this is a rare find and would be a treasured piece of furniture for allot of years in your home.
