The 40 L, Blue “Food Grade,” Barrel—with Black Lid, Sturdy Black Handles, Brassy coloured Metal Clamp {Silverish Galvanized Clamp also available}. The 40 L Canoe / Bear / Portage / Storage / Cottage / Food / Boat / Camping / Shipping Barrel $50.00. Durable thick Blue Plastic Barrel: $50.00. Great barrel when back country camping / portaging by canoe, preventing bears from obtaining your food. Air tight, gasketted, shipping seal keeps everything dry in poor weather or if your canoe should tip. This one is in Nearly Brand New Condition. It was used once as a shipping barrel {washed, grease pencil, and all labels removed}. It absolutely looks mint: Brassy coloured metal clamp has no salt water air corrosion {plastic clamp also available for air shipping]. Most are 12 inches (30 cm.) in diameter (on the inside of the opening) across the top, lid, opening. Most are 24.5 inches (63 cm.) in height from base to top lid, opening. This barrel fits in a standard 25 - 70L, (or larger), adjustable harness for portage / carrying. Harness not included: FYI only.
