This Matthew Reinhart over-the-top PopUp 2006 book - a treasure for certain --- a crying shame that pop-ups are thought merely as 'books for children'. This one is shown in detail on more than one upload to YouTube (I've included one of theirs for you) for you to see the full grandeur of it all - I don't have someone to hold the video camera for me, and it needs two hands to showcase its deliriously detailed treasure.
This isn't Christmas themed, but the extravagance of it, the colours and textures and each page filled with surprise are right up there with the colourful gift wrappings, and all the WOWerness of New Year's Eve. It's an extraordinary flagrant display of ingenuity where papercraft is concerned.
Each centrefold has a main extravagance, with each page having extra pages to open - there is zero plainness about Mr Reinhart's works. This book is in perfect condition, and is in its original wrapper / price tag on it.
