These great boots can be used for downhill and alpine ski touring - basically a one quiver boot.
You used to race. You still charge hard, but are in it for the pow and steeps and sometimes a bit of touring for fresh tracks. Consider the new Tecnica Cochise 105 W Ski Boots to fill that elusive "one boot quiver" slot. Not plug boot stiff, but with plenty of support for ripping steeps and tight tree lines, the Cochise 105 W features a new super smooth walk mode mechanism and a more precise fit around the ankle and midfoot than previous Cochise boots. A new bi-injected polyether shell is bootfitter-friendly and encourages customization, and the famous Tecnica progressive flex and snow feel are better than ever. Tecnica's Mobility Cuff walk mode leads the category for smoothness and range of motion, and the Cochise 105 es standard with genuine Dynafit tech inserts, so transitioning to tour mode is a breeze.
These high performance boots have lots of life left. The liners have never been used or molded as I used Intuition Liners of my own instead. I wear womens size 7, but like my boots snug for maximum edge control. These would work for someone with a smaller foot (Size 6 or 6.5 US). For more info:
