Description Job Overview Would you like to prepare delicious Shawarma & Burgers for our clients and play a critical role in the restaurant ? A Prep Cook at Shawarma Boys & Burgers is an important kitchen position where you will prep food items to be cooked and maintain a clean, organized work area. Prep Cooks are also responsible for food storage and ensuring the correct ingredients are readily available for our team. What You Need to Succeed •The Willingness and Ability to Cross-Train and Work in Multiple Positions – We believe in the concept of ONE Kitchen, where your training and flexibility will enable you to e an expert in all Heart of House roles •Skills to Make the Grade – Multi-tasking, organization skills, and ability to follow recipes to assist in creating delicious food. •Job Qualifications – Must be at least 18 years of age, any culinary education is a plus! Job Description. We are looking for full-time and part-time Team members to join our Team in Toronto West. Full time and part time positions available. Responsibilities include : - Food preparation, chopping vegetables, making toppings and general cleaning - Grilling Burgers, Shawarma, Gyro, Chicken and frying fries, falafel and onion rings. - Greet guests and take their orders with smile - Prepare the ordered food with utmost care - Able to work in high volume and high pace environment - Maintain food safety and quality standards - Provide exceptional guest service in any given situation - Work with other team members to keep the restaurant clean - The ideal candidates should be hard working and excel in all aspects of customer service. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
