Job Description:We are an international accounting firm, and we are seeking friendly and energetic professionals who are an Enrolled Agent or CPA and have a minimum 3 seasons of paid Tax Preparation experience to join our accounting and tax team. Work from home based on your lifestyle: * Full-Time/exempt - Monday to Friday. (In season might have to work overtime) * Part-Time with flexible hours Compensation : 50K to 100K based on experience Summary: The Tax Accountant will prepare and process the accounting tax work necessary to provide all phases of tax preparation for our clients by supporting a wide variety of tax assignments. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting knowledge and ability to meet time constraints. Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to: * Ability to organize projects, prioritize and meet deadlines. * Ability plete work in an efficient and accurate manner. * Collects and applies various accounting data necessary to prepare tax returns and assigned accounting functions. * Understands technical tax issues and will independently research additional information. * Provide current information on progress of assigned tasks to the Accounting & Tax Supervisors and will work with Accounting & Supervisors on advanced tax and accounting strategies. * Prepare financial statements and adjusting journal entries. * Assist in the preparation of reports as plying with financial reporting regulations. * Positively seeks knowledge, new tasks and responsibilities. * Punctually enter time daily to support efficient billing process. * Produce and file incorporation documents and forms Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting encouraged. Language ability : Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Speech /Write Spanish and/or French a plus Requirements: * Accounting and tax preparation experience: +2 years/CPA or enrolled agent status * Extensive Experience with QuickBooks and Waveapps * Proficient with Drake, Word, Excel & Outlook Respond to this job posting with a copy of your resume.
