Star Wars Storm Trooper Lego Alarm LCD Clock Reveille Matin. Working condition battery-operated with batteries included with LCD display and LED backlight when the helmet is pressed down. The top and back are yellowed from exposure to a light source such as a lamp or sunlight. The yellowing is permanent and cannot be changed back to white. It shows why having only LED lamps to show off your collection would be a much better choice for your collectibles than any other light source.
Plastics turn yellow with exposure to the ultraviolet portion of the spectrum. Lamps that use fluorescent or halogen or incandescent or xenon bulbs or even sunlight should never ever be permitted to shine on any kind of plastic item. Since this item is plastic and the previous owner did not take precautions, the white plastic yellowed as a result. This is still a collectible piece and functional so if you want to use it or let your kids play with a big Lego-style toy, this might work for you not for young children as parts can be a choking hazard. This unit has useful good condition internal pieces like battery contacts and clock screen if you want to restore yours.
