The aluminum track is 120 3/4” long (10 steps) and can be shortened to modate a shorter flight of stairs. Additional track is available for longer flights. It is a simple installation given that it is mounted on the stairs and not to the wall. It is a pact unit taking up only 12 1/4” of stairway width pletely folded. Capacity: 140 kg.
Comes with all mounting hardware: three mounting feet and three splice bars.
Also included are the power supply (regular 110V outlet / no hard wiring required), battery backup for use during power failure, deluxe padded seat / back / arm rests, two remote control handsets with wall mount holders, the emergency hand winder, a very detailed installation manual with electrical schematics and an owners manual with features, operation, battery care and charging, maintenance with care and cleaning.
Standard features are the locking swiveling folding seat for easy seating and rising / folding arms / folding footrest, the onboard armrest mounted up / down controls, the safety switches on the bottom of the footrest, safety switches on both ends of the carriage and an onboard diagnostics display with 19 fault codes.
This stairlift’s design is NOT based on a friction drive. Instead it is powered by a maintenance free, problem free and safer rack and pinion drive.
Continues to operate during a power outage. INCLUDES TWO NEW INSTALLED BATTERIES
The two sealed batteries powering Stairlifts have a service life of only four to five years depending on the extent of the unit's use. Both of the batteries in our Stairlift were replaced on December 15th 2022. A copy of the bill will be included with our Stairlift's documentation.
The unit has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with Lysol spray. The plastic parts have been thoroughly cleaned and protected with ArmorAll. The track has been thoroughly cleaned and protected with a high end polish. From a pet free and smoke free home
The unit is presently disassembled in two large sections with two bags of parts and two manuals all ready to be transported.
The included Installation Manual is detailed and very well written and illustrated. The unit can be installed with relative ease by anyone with basic skills and basic tools. If required professional installation of the unit from the Edmonton dealer is available. For an installation in the Edmonton area with the equipment on site ready to install would be $400.00 to $600.00
