Spica TC-50 speakers A rare chance to buy a pair of these iconic ‘80s audiophile speakers. If you’re looking for speakers that’ll peel the paint off the walls, these aren’t for you—but if you want three-dimensional imaging and unmatched vocals, these Spicas are it. These are a matched pair, which means they have the same service codes and serial number—John Bau was serious about pair matching. Cosmetics are good. Functionally, they’re excellent. They have had two minor upgrades: the original plasticy binding posts have been replaced with new gold plated binding posts; and the original Audax tweeters were replaced with new Audax tweeters.
