I've had this TV forever and finally migrated to a 57"; LED to replace it. It's been an absolute workhorse of a TV and it still works perfectly. Yes - it's big and heavy but never ever had any problems with it. posite video through my Pioneer home theatre receiver for 5.1 sound from the DVD player. Images were/are always crisp and clear.

I have been so tempted to buy a new flat panel TV, but 99 out of 100 that I've seen have had a picture quality that is noticeably inferior to this TV. The picture quality on this TV is BEAUTIFUL, even after 11 years. I've had several people ask how I hide my sound system so well. They're stunned that I don't have one and that it's just the small speakers from the TV.

If I could go back to when i was 21 and give myself some advice about what TV to buy, I would tell myself to damn the $1300 price tag and buy it again.

Hook your DVD player and TV ponent cables, add a Home Theatre System (Preferably Sony as well) and you're ready to go. For a 32";; this seems like owning a 40";. The look of it too is stylish to a tee. Great for retro gaming!
