This external USB floppy drive is for use with laptops & computers that don’t have a internal floppy drive. • Reads and writes standard 1.44 MB floppy disks • Fast data transfer rate of up to 500 kbps • Powered through the USB port (no need for an AC adapter) • Hard disk interface: USB 1.1 Plug & Play. It takes about 1 minute to mount a floppy once the disk is inserted in the drive. USB powered, it reads and writes standard 1.44 MB floppy disks and has a data transfer rate of up to 500 Kbps. 9.7 x 6.1 x 1.9 inches – weight: 1 pound.
