Skateboarding Lessons and Instruction

First day on the board? Feel intimidated by the skate park environment? Have a trick you find yourself getting stuck on? My name is Morgan, I have been skating for 6+ years, and it would be my pleasure to help you establish your foundation and empower your confidence on your skateboard! Whether you've never stepped foot on a board just yet, are just learning how to push around, or you're looking to refine your style and technique, I am here to offer gentle support and guidance at your pace of learning, in an inclusive and safe environment for all ages.
Lesson plans are tailored to the individual student and cover a variety of topics such as skatepark etiquette and safety, the basics of stance, foot placement, and weight distribution, pushing and steering, mindset and visualization techniques, and the demonstration/fine-tuning of various basic tricks in both transition and street categories, including but not limited to: ollies, reverts, kick-turns, frontside and backside 180s, half cabs, pop shuvs, dropping in, rock fakies, 5050s, and much more!
I will be taking new students and offering one on one private coaching and small group skateboarding lessons as soon as the parks are clear are dry. Skatepark/location to be determined based on the needs and preference of the individual student. Individual 1hr session: $40 Individual 1.5hr session: $55
Small group session (up to 3 students), 1hr: $60 Small group session (up to 3 students), 1.5hr: $75

Cleared child abuse/criminal record checks available upon request, as well as references from my shop sponsor and previous skate mentorship programs I have coached with. Waivers will be required to be signed prior to the start of the lesson.
