Magnificent and rare one of a kind, Antique Empire Sideboard. Completely original condition, including original antique glass drawer pulls. Gorgeous flame mahogany. 7 handy drawers, plus central storage cupboard. Hand dovetailed. Circa 1830. Has 4 hand carved acanthus leaves and sits on 6 magnificent hand turned legs which are 10 inches tall. ( William IV period ) Measures 71 long, 39 tall without backboard, 53 with backboard, 22 inches wide. A very early piece, similar example at Fort York museum. Asking $ 640 or best offer. All offers considered. Included with the purchase of the sideboard is a large, original picture frame from the 1800’s. Approximately 40 x 31 inches.
