Phillips Bros Excavating is a family owned and pany which has proudly served the construction industry for over 27 years. Phillips Bros Excavating has over fifty specialized, dedicated employees who are here to get the job done for our customers. Our philosophy is “Small Enough to Listen, Big Enough to Deliver”. We are a pany that can handle any job big or small. Our past and current projects have included but not limited to: municipal street reconstruction, culvert replacements, new construction site preparation, chipping, grading, grubbing, floating, crushing, street sweeping & snow removal. We also provide many specialty services for our customers based on individual needs. Due to expanding business demand, we are currently looking for a qualified Shop Foreman. Duties:
- Responsible for the day to day operation and supervision of our shop - Manage and dispatch mechanics - Scheduling of equipment/vehicles for preventative maintenance. - Ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition - Responsible for pricing of parts for repairs - Budgeting of equipment repair costs and overall shop recovery
Qualifications:
- Licensed Red Seal Mechanic is required. - Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic and/or Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanic will be considered a strong asset. - At least 10 years experience in the heavy equipment industry is required - Previous supervision experience is an asset
