The Dryer: HIX BE-2410, made in the USA 240V, 7.2 kW 35 amp @ 240V
74” chamber length, 121” including belt. 32.5” wide 24” wide belt 50” height of actual unit (+vertical vent on top), 59” height including snazzy rolling platform that doubles as storage..
This dryer is a beast. It’s the perfect size for a small professional level shop. We’ve successfully been curing discharge inks in it for years. This is about the shortest dryer you could cure discharge inks in. Perfect for an independent. The belt has a 5 inch tear right beside the zipper, but it’s been like that since we got it 12 years ago and has never changed. Don’t think it’s going to.
We upgraded the second heating element and put a new forced air fan in underneath, improving the curing even more, especially for discharge inks.
AND - did we mention it is on wheels? We put it on a platform to move it 6 years ago and left it like that, for future ease….no dead lifting. And, it’s at a better height now - less back pain ☝
