NEW FRAME! Here's an exceptional painting by Ontario artist, Twyla Webster. Titled, "Autumn Walk" it is oil on canvas. This painting measures 24 inches x 52 inches. She has beautifully captured a walk in the woods in the fall. Created in 1989, it was sold by a gallery in Toronto in 1990 to a client in PEI (original price in 1990 was $1300.00). This painting has been in my possession for the past eleven years. Has a sleek, modern professionally installed upgraded plete with scoop liner- new frame alone was $500. The previous floating frame is still available should the purchaser prefer it over the new one. Asking price on this quality work is $1550.00. Comes from a smoke free, pet free home. Biography: Twyla Webster Wolfe Lake Artist Twyla Webster is a Canadian artist known primarily for her renditions of the spectacular Canadian countryside. Working in oils, she translates the color and magnificence of the landscape to works on canvas and wood panels.
A professional artist for many years, she was born in Fredericton, NB in 1953, raised and educated in Toronto, graduating with an Honours BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts degree) from York University. Twyla has numerous works housed in corporate as well as private collections across Canada. Additionally, her work has appeared in galleries in numerous solo and selected group exhibitions including the Canadian Museum of Nature, “Evergreen 92” show in Ottawa, commemorating Canada’s 125th anniversary of confederation, and in 1999 and 2002, juried international art exhibitions at the Y Tabernacl, the Museum of Modern Art in Wales, England.
