This is a large, quite nice, three level house in Parry Sound near the beach, and downtown. We cater to quiet professionals for short term modation while travelling, working or studying in Parry Sound. Medium sized furnished guest rooms are on the second and third floor of the home with two baths and kitchenette/lounge on the second floor. There is a fire extinguisher/CO/smoke detector in plain view. Each room is supplied with a fire escape ladder. Inn Keepers Act Section pliance. Hotel Registration and Guests Act Section pliance. Exemption relating to Section 5 of the Residential Tenancies Act. Cancellation Policy: Please understand that as a small business a cancelled reservation can have a huge impact on the success of our guest house. If you reserve, and pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, you hold space from other guests and if you cancel it may not be possible for us to fill the space again. Unfortunately, illness or cancellation of mitments can happen. The NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in any event. A last month NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due in full to reserve a room if you require a monthly stay per calendar month, with the term ending on the last day of the month. Cash is the preferred payment method. Fees are due by 8:00 am on the first day of the month. Check in at 5:00 PM. Check out 9:00 AM on the last day of the month or last day of the term. Fees are based on one person in a room with no exceptions. No pets permitted. No smoking/vaping permitted. Visitors are not permitted unless preapproved through the owner in writing and $60 per night visitor fee is paid. House - $120 nightly for less than one month paid in full, in advance. House - $975 per calendar month for 2 and more months. Last month non-refundable deposit required in full to hold a room. Bathrooms x 2 on 2nd floor with tubs/shower, sinks, storage. Laundry facilities are within walking distance of house. There are two laundry services in town. Shared Space – Kitchenette – single stove top, toaster oven, slow cooker, instant cooker, cupboard, dishes, sink and fridge. Light cooking/warming of food. Shared fridge and cupboards, individual bins in cupboards and fridge. Guests are not permitted to bring their own appliances, heaters, air conditioners. Parking in driveway as assigned by the owner. An outdoor sitting area is at the bottom of the stairs. We live on the main floor of the guest house. Train noise is heard often as the train is close by. Monthly Guests: Upon occupancy of your room a $150 cleaning fee is assessed for linens, and full room clean, payable with the first month rent. During winter months, your vehicle must be moved off site by 9am if there has been enough snow fall for the plow to attend. Waubeek House contracts for one pass through per snow fall. If you do not remove your vehicle and the plow needs to return after you have moved your vehicle, a $50 fee will be assessed. Please check weather and if in doubt, ask if the plow ing. Most of the time, it will be obvious as the plow es when it is required.
