We have for sale a Fine Art Print made from an original 1940s WW2 poster designed for the Canadian Government. Designed by Russel Taber, the design features the iconic yellow North American Harvard airplane. This version was made for the Winnipeg, Manitoba recruiting office. The original poster that we obtained at auction has been digitally restored by a professional to bring back the true colours and remove creases, then printed using specialty machines used to create limited edition artist prints. For the creation of Second World War Canadian Fundraising & Propaganda Posters, the Canadian government standardized the content requirements of such Wartime Propaganda posters in advance, but had them designed and produced by several panies. Artists received between $50 and $250, sometimes in Victory Bonds, for their interpretations.
