Set Sail With Style!

For sale is an very fine condition, working, 1940s-50s, electric mantle sailing ship clock by Metalcraft.

This extraordinary, rare, vintage timepiece has a solid wood hull, adorned with brass chromium/mixed metal nautical-themed ornamentation. The gleaming sails are made from mirrored steel/tin.

The clock's crystal bears no cracks, scratches, or chips, and the clock mechanism appears to be in full working order. There are some minor marks on the hull of the clock, as expected of a piece of this age. Also, the Driver sail has a slight curve to it. Other than that, this piece is ship-shape!

The clock face is clearly marked with the manufacturer's name, and the back plate and label provide some of the production information.

The clock mechanism of this fantastic, nostalgic piece was manufactured in England, while the body and final assembly pleted in Montreal.

The clock, including the sails, measures 18" L x 5" D x 18" T and weighs 4lbs. 3.1 oz.

This tall ship timepiece would be an ideal treasure for any lover of the high-seas and would be a terrific statement piece at the cottage, office, or den.
