Rare American Optical AO 645 Fluorolume Fluorescence Microscope

A very rare early 60's museum piece - an American Optical Spencer model 645 Fluorolume fluorescence illuminator system with AO microscope in good working and cosmetic condition. $1100 or best offer. This Fluorolume set includes: • Model 645 AO Fluorolume illuminator - focus condensing system, field iris diaphragm and adjustable mirror and cooling fan all work well. Four slide-out filter carriers with 50 mm glasses. Wood base, original large glass heat shield and cover is included. • Model 645L AO high voltage power supply, works well: mercial quality power cord has been installed - the original power cord is included. Runs well, good condition, heavy at over 30 pounds. • An AO model 10-118 stereo microscope with filter housing, includes illuminator 1036a and set of three fluorescence filters (yellow/orange/dark). • Condenser is marked 'N.A. 1.25 Aspheric'. Eyepieces each marked '10 X W.F. Cat. 176'. Has one objective marked '40/.66 PLAN ACHRO (infinity symbol) (AO logo) Cat. 1023 USA' and one with '4/.12 PLAN ACHRO (infinity symbol) (AO logo) Cat. 1017 USA'. Has a rotating filter housing labelled 'AO 1152' that will hold four round glasses/filters of about 7/8 inch diameter. There is one present, it looks light gray. • Copy of ''AO Fluorescence Microscope and Illuminator' by AO, 'AO Fluorolume Model 645' by AO, 'Reference Manual - AO Fluorolume Illuminator Model 645' by AO, and copy of other manuals and sales brochures. • Pack of Advantage 72 pre-cleaned slides, and cover glasses. Black accessory box, Microfibre cleaning cloth, cover in fair condition, lens wipes, and safety glasses. Will deliver in Regina area, curbside pickup available, tracked shipping available.
