This rare Sony produced ear-clip set is the matching set for Sony-made Aiwa XP-EV501R Walkman, that I sold last year. The sound is very nice, wide open and clear, with perfect midrange, likely the best sound I've heard in headphones of this type and size. As a matter of fact HP-M146 sound better than original edition classic Sony M-W14. The 3.5mm plug is gold plated.
HP-M146 is a rare model, only produced for one year, 2003, so no specs, but the way it sounds and feels it's 32 Ohms. The cord looks to be standard 1 meter length . You wear these cans on your neck, mounted behind the ears.
This headphones set was disinfected with 90% isopropyl alcoh0l spray. I will set up at the front door or on the porch with a Discman CD player, for you to test briefly. COVID-free home.
