Excellent German made Rosenthal fine china service for 12. It is marked US ZONE and that was after WW2 when Germany was divided into 4 zones controlled by 4 different countries. The Rosenthal factory was in the US Zone. After 1949 it became just East and West Germany. These markings would date the set to 1946-1949. The pattern is called Aida 2625. Very nice floral design. Condition is very good except for one bread and butter plate which got broken but is likely repairable. Replacement pieces of this exact pattern are available. But they likely won't be marked as this set is. The US Zone marking makes this a truly unique set of china from a very short specific time period. Excellent historical provenance with this set. Includes, 12 x tea cups 12 x saucers 12 x dinner plates 12 x salad / lunch plates 12 x bread plates as noted 1 is broken but included 1 x gravy boat and under dish 1 x creamer 1 x sugar with lid 1 x round serving bowl 1 x covered serving bowl with lid 1 x serving platter 13" 1 x serving platter 15" 12 x cream soup bowls 12 x cream soup bowl under dishes 12 x fruit bowls 105 pieces total a very large set of quality china. Would be a great set plete if you wanted to collect more of this pattern. Very good parable to Royal Albert, Minton, Royal Doulton, Wedgwood Nice set for someone and it looks little or rarely used.
