Description: Sturdy and stylish mid-century modern style puter desk {bureau d'ordinateur de bureau de style moderne du milieu du siècle}, made of a beautiful teak veneer {beau placage de teck} over a particle board core. One drawer, and a storage space puter tower shelf on the right side. Pull-out keyboard tray on the left side. {Plateau de clavier coulissant sur le côté gauche.}
The back of the desk is of the same construction and finish as the sides, so the desk looks great in the centre of a room. This is a small desk, so it will work in small quarters. It is light, so easy to move.
Likely built in Canada in the1990s. Influenced by Scandinavian design {conception scandinave} and exhibits clean mid-century lines and a warm red-brown teak finish. Vintage teak desks for sale are rare in Ottawa, as they sell quickly and people hang onto them. And small vintage teak desks are particularly rare as the demand is greater for small desks. Purchased from an estate sale in Westboro.

Condition: Good to Very good vintage condition ( 7 / 10 ). Structurally sound. The keyboard tray and drawer glide well on their tracks. All joinery is tight. From a smoke-free home. {D'une maison sans fumée}. Minor superficial dings and scratches. Water stains and sun fade on desk top. Scratches on bottoms of sides. No veneer bubbling. Minor veneer chips on bottom edges. Superficial flaws can be corrected with light hand sanding, steel wool rubbing, and oil and or stain application.
Asking price, as is: $195. Price, if sanded and refinished: $495.
