Production Operator

Quality Molded Plastics Ltd. (QMP), an established leader in the rotational molding industry, is seeking permanent full-time Production Operators. In general, the production operator duties consist of installing and filling molds, blending resin, demolding plastic products, as well as trimming product. Rotational molding process work can pared to manufacturing type duties.
QMP offers petitive wage program as well as prehensive benefit plan, pension plan and safety shoe allowance. QMP provides required PPE and offers a positive and stable work environment. Work schedule is 10 hours x 4 day work week (Mon – Thurs). Overtime may be required.
QMP is located just outside of Saskatoon's city limits on the corner of Capital Circle W and Auction Mart Rd. This is outside of the city transit routes and personal transportation is required.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: - Working in a team environment in a safe and efficient manner - Mechanical assembly of a variety ponents as per specifications - Following quality procedures for various hand and automated equipment - An enthusiasm for working - Ability to lift and handle heavy loads and accurately use basic shop tools - Ability to work well independently and in a team environment - Proven time management skills and attention to detail - Experience operating a forklift is an asset - Supervisory experience is an asset - Reliable transportation is required.
