With over 14 years of experience teaching swimming lessons and 6 years as a lesson supervisor, I offer expert instruction.
I honed my skills by training Canadian Juniors & Senior Champion Adam Wu (5-time champion and 4-time Junior Pan Pacific finalist) during his formative years. He is ranked 1# in BC, ranked #64 worldwide and broke 5 Canadian records
My focus is on improving technique, correcting bad habits and developing skills using Red Cross and Swim for Life standards. I teach at Langley Fernridge and South Surrey Crescent Pools, Sunshine Hills and have experience teaching all ages and abilities.

Super clear engaging teaching skills Alex did a lesson for my son and his cousin Who are both 15/16 years old. This lesson was to further their swimming abilities by learning different swim techniques if they were caught in a difficult situation. municated so clearly and kept them engaged. He made learning each skill easy to understand and do. We have already booked our next lesson with Alex. Highly mend!

We all like Alex! Alex earns the hearts and trust of my boys at their first lesson. Alex is a pleasant and excellent coach. He observed attentively how my boys swam, and I could almost see him detecting the imperfection, formulating a teaching plan! My elder one, at age 11, admires him as he scientifically explains the reasons and demonstrates how to improve his stroke. I appreciate his kindness and patience towards my younger one, who has special educational needs. Alice is firm but gentle. He has the charm and skills to encourage kids to try and work harder. My boys look forward to Alex’s class. We are glad to have Alex; he is polite, punctual, passionate, and experienced.
Professional and effective Alex is the most professional teacher my child has ever met. He can quickly judge the skills my child has learned and provide effective guidance.
